Sr. Yard Engineer and Yard Engineer(Erection)
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Yard Engineer and Yard Engineer (Erection) to join our project team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating yard erection and fabrication activities for major oil & gas and industrial construction projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, effective coordination skills, and a commitment to safety, quality, and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor yard fabrication and erection activities.
Coordinate with Construction, Fabrication, QA/QC, Planning, and HSE teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Ensure all erection works are performed in accordance with approved drawings, procedures, specifications, and quality standards.
Review engineering drawings, method statements, and work procedures before commencement of activities.
Monitor manpower, materials, equipment utilization, and productivity within the assigned work area.
Enforce HSE requirements and promote a strong safety culture throughout project execution.
Support project planning, scheduling, and progress reporting activities.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and operational issues during construction.
Participate in inspections, testing, and quality control activities as required.
Maintain accurate daily reports, documentation, and progress records.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 6–8 years of experience in oil & gas, industrial construction, or EPC projects.
Proven experience in yard fabrication and erection activities is mandatory.
Strong understanding of construction standards, fabrication processes, and erection methodologies.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with international safety, quality, and construction standards is preferred.
Preferred Skills
Experience on large-scale EPC, oil & gas, or industrial construction projects.
Knowledge of project execution procedures, reporting systems, and construction workflows.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment.
Proficiency in MS Office and project documentation tools.
Strong teamwork and leadership capabilities.
