Director – Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)
Role Overview:
We are supporting a major Oil & Gas organization in Saudi Arabia seeking an experienced GRC Director to lead governance, risk, compliance, and audit functions across complex, safety-critical operations. This role will ensure regulatory compliance, enterprise risk management, and audit excellence in alignment with Saudi energy sector regulations and international best practices.

Location: Saudi Arabia
Responsibilities:
Lead enterprise-wide governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
Design and implement compliance programmes aligned with Saudi energy regulators and industry standards
Oversee internal and external audit programmes, ensuring full audit readiness
Act as primary liaison with external auditors, regulators, and key stakeholders
Establish and maintain enterprise risk registers and mitigation strategies
Drive corporate governance policies and board-level reporting
Monitor regulatory and compliance changes impacting the energy sector
Lead and develop compliance, audit, and risk teams
Advise executive leadership on organizational risk exposure and control effectiveness
Requirements:
12+ years’ experience in GRC, compliance, audit, or risk leadership
Strong external audit background within Oil & Gas, energy, or industrial sectors
Proven experience engaging with regulators and external auditors
Experience operating in large-scale, multi-site, or government-linked organizations
Executive-level stakeholder management capability
