Operations Manager
One of our key customers, a market leading offshore drilling contractor, located in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of offshore jack up rig operations.
You will lead a team of highly competent Rig Managers and provide visible, hands-on leadership while managing operational resources, supporting business development, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic input into overall business direction and translate strategy into operational goals and measurable objectives.
Lead and manage day-to-day rig operations with a strong emphasis on safety, crew welfare, and operational efficiency.
Oversee offshore rig activities and ensure contractual and safety obligations are fulfilled.
Establish and monitor performance metrics, report performance against targets quarterly and annually.
Ensure strict compliance with corporate policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
Conduct regular rig visits and chair weekly management meetings to support operational execution.
Ensure all contractual obligations to clients are aligned with company safety and legal standards.
Manage rig hire contracts and maintain strong relationships with clients to maximize value.
Support business development initiatives, including rig marketing, tendering, and client engagement.
Provide leadership and support to Rig Managers and direct reports, including mentoring, coaching, and professional development.
Plan rig scheduling and manage transitions for contract conclusions.
Lead and support change initiatives and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
In collaboration with the HSE Manager, ensure the health and safety of all offshore personnel.
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policy and procedures.
Liaise with the corporate office on commercial matters, including tenders and proposals.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of a high school diploma; additional technical or management qualifications preferred.
Minimum of 15 years’ experience in rig operations, with proven experience in a Operations Manager role.
Skills & Competencies

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent planning, organization, and decision-making capabilities.
Effective conflict management and team-building abilities.
Proficient in operational control and performance monitoring.
